A Singaporean woman and her husband will face court trial on 11th of February,2018 for abusing their maid.
The abused maid is from Myanmar(A country found in Asia). The abused, Phyu Phyu Mar will face her bosses in court for wrongdoings done to her.
The wife is charged for six crimes. First, she asked the maid on two several occasions “to pour hot water” onto her shoulder, which the maid eventually did. After pouring the water, it caused scald marks and blisters to the maid but instead of her boss to take her to the hospital, she gave the maid a needle to poke the blisters.
The boss(wife) also pulled the maid by her hair until lot of hair fell off.
The boss(husband) is charged of abusing the maid for punching her in the face. Lim Toon, a 44years old man and his wife will be in court in February for maltreating their maid. The reason for this maltreatment is: the maid is accused for being slow with the house-chores.
