Such a sad day in Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area of Lagos state. Around 10am, a loud bang was heard in areas, such as: Abule Ado, Festac, Surulere and Satellite town. Most people at first thought it was an attack from Boko Haram. An hour later, it will reported that it was a pipeline explosion.
The pipeline explosion which occurred in Abule Ado has destroyed so many houses, properties and claimed a few lives.
In the video below, we can see how some residents were pulling out the students of Bethlehem girls’ college and Saint Joseph’s from the school compound.
According to reports, the injured students were rushed to Nigerian Navy reference hospital for treatment.
