Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Festus Keyamo has given a powerful piece of advice to people who are always scared to defend their beliefs because other people might not like them.
Festus Keyamo took to his Twitter page to tell his fans that they should never try to win over anyone who doesn’t like them for their beliefs.
He continued by saying that the best way to treat those people who don’t buy one’s beliefs is by ignoring them whilst strongly defending those convictions.
He ended his statement by saying that when those people see how well a person keeps defending his/her beliefs, those haters would either become a fan of one’s beliefs or they will resign from disagreeing with the beliefs.
He wrote: “Never try to win over those who dislike you for your convictions & beliefs. They’re not the barometer of life. The best way tp treat them is tp ignore them whilst firmly defending those beliefs until their anger turns to solemn resignation or their hatred turns to quiet admiration”
