Two people who were involved in the demolition of Nigerian Embassy Staff Quarters in Accra, Ghana have been arrested.
Recall that yesterday, President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo had tendered an apology to President Muhammadu Buhari through a telephone conversation.
The Criminal Investigation Department(CID) have arrested two people involved in the demolition of a building on the premises of the Nigerian High Commission in Accra, Ghana. The arrested was made on Monday.
In a statement signed by the head of Public Affairs, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Juliana Obeng reads: “The Criminal Investigation Department in the course of investigation on Monday 22nd June, 2020, arrested two persons involving in the demolition of a building on the premises of the Nigerian High Commission in Accra. The suspects involved in the act have been charged with the offences of conspiracy to commit crime to wit; unlawful entry and causing unlawful damages contrary ti sections 23(1), 152 and 172 respectively of the criminal and other offences Act 1960(Act 29) and will be arraigned before the court”.
