Nigerian Singer, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as, Wizkid, has just achieved a great success in the US with his songs for over 4 years with Drake.
Wizkid’s great success in the US was made known by New102.7’s OAP, Mike Adam via Twitter. According to him, he revealed that Come Closer by Wizkid featuring Drake has now been certified Gold in the US.
For a song or an album to be certified Gold in the US, it must have sold over 500,000 copies. That’s a great achievement for Wizkid. WNEW102.7 is a popular contemporary radio station, which is licensed to New York City and owned by Entercom.
