Curfew is a serious thing; even in First World countries, it must be respected but dehumanising defaulters of curfew is wrong on all levels.
A video of Nigerian soldiers dehumanising a group of defaulters at Oke-Omiru, Ilesha, Osun State, has gone viral on all social media platforms in the world, such as: Twitter, Instagram and even on Reddit.
In the video, Nigerian military officers are seen as they flog curfew defaulters who were lying in the mud/in muddy area. According to reports, the military men were the ones who asked the curfew offenders to lie in the mud.
