Nigerian food vlogger, Sisi Yemmie, is back again with another exciting recipe episode ahead of festive season (Christmas & New Year). This time, she’s teaching us how to prepare or cook Nigerian Party Jollof, Stew and Chicken.
In the video, Sisi took us through a smooth journey on how to prepare/make/cook Nigerian Party Jollof Rice, Stew and Chicken.
Ingredients used:
1. 7 kilo orobo chicken
2. 3 large onions
3. 1 tbsp Paprika
4. 1 tbsp salt
5. 2 tbsp chicken stock powder
6. 1 tbsp thyme
7. 1 tbsp curry powder
8. 1 tbsp ginger powder
9. 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
Stew ingredients:
1. 1 bucket boiled down tomatoes
2. 3 cups vegetable oil
3. 1 cup tomato puree
4. 2 large onions
5. 1 tbsp thyme
6. 1 tbsp rosemary
7. 1 tbsp curry powder
8. 5 cups chicken stock
Jollof Rice ingredients:
1. 12 cups rice
2. 3 cups vegetable oil
3. 70g tomato puree
4. 2 cups boiled down tatashe, onions
5. 2 tbsp chicken stock powder
6. 4 cups chicken stock
7. 8 cups water
8. 1/2 tbsp salt
9. 1 tbsp thyme
10. 1 tbsp rosemary
11. 1/1 tbsp curry powder
12. 1 tbsp white pepper
13. 6 Bay leaves
14. 3 onions sliced
Garnishing:
1. 3 tbsp butter
2. 1 onion sliced
3. 1 green bell pepper
