Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, revealed that the General Overseer (G.O) of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye assured him that he will win his second term in office despite the crisis.
Governor Obaseki revealed this while sharing his testimony at the 2020 RCCG Holy Ghost Congress held at the Church’s Headquarters located at Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
During the testimony, he said:
“When it looked impossible, and when men rose, God came out to say that he’s God and only he has the power.
About the time when the crisis started a year ago, I came to the RCCG camp with my wife and met Daddy G.O.
Daddy G.O said to me: ‘My son, it’s well. Don’t be afraid you will overcome and you will win.”
Recall how members of All Progressive Congress (APC) fought Obaseki. He fought back through the help of God, people of Edo who stood by him, PDP members and Wike (Governor of Rivers State). During the testimony, he continued by assuring the congregation that ‘with God all things are possible.’
According to Obaseki, he said he returned to meet Pastor Adeboye shortly before the September 19, he said:
“A few months before the election, I came again to see Pastor Adeboye and he prayed for me and with me and he said it’s will be well.”
