Nigerians living in Nigeria and Nigerians in diaspora still can’t keep calm after Ric Hassani’s Thunder Fire You got banned by NBC yesterday. According to reports, the song was banned because of vulgarity.
What vulgarity? Is Thunder Fire You worse than Cashapp by Bella Shmurda? NBC didn’t listen to the lyrics of the song well or guilty conscience is playing a fast on its organisation and workers.
Taking to his Twitter page, Ric Hassani, announced that his latest and trending single has been banned by the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC). In the same week, Ric Hassani lost his father to the cold hands of death.
According to Ric, he says NBC didn’t only ban his song, but also fined the radio stations in Nigeria that played the song. After Ric made the announcement, Nigerians and his fans began to react and question NBC for banning the song
He wrote: “So, the NBC has banned my song ‘Thunder Fire You’ and are fining radio stations that play it. Interesting.”
