A Nigerian feminist, Mohnice, has called out popular Nigerian singer, Bella Shmurda and also asked NBC (National Broadcasting Commission) to ban his upcoming music video over extreme nudity.
Bella Shmurda is currently trending on Twitter after photos from his forthcoming music video, “Rush” went viral. The video vixens in his upcoming music video were almost naked. Their breasts were covered with “sellotape.”
A Nigerian feminist took to her Twitter page to call for the immediate ban of “Rush” by Bella Shmurda over extreme nudity. Nigerian men took to her Twitter page to call her “a hypocrite.” She’s being called a hypocrite because she and other feminists always pray “body positivity” to women. Why then is nudity now her biggest problem?
She wrote: “NBC should look into Bella shmurda Rush visuals before the video drop. These artists should know that minors are included in their fanbase, what will this portray after being released? Sexualizing women? We should join & help the upcoming generations with proper sanity not nudity.”
