Popular Nigerian Activist, Aisha Yesufu, has slammed former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and his party (PDP) for allowing the abduction of Chibok girls, which took place a few years ago.
Aisha Yesufu passed the blame of Chibok girls’ kidnap on the previous government, which according to her is “unforgivable.” She made the statement while airing her opinion on the “Sunrise Daily” on Channels Tv, this morning.
Not just that, she also said that the rescue of the Chibok girls isn’t a privilege but it’s their rights, according to the Nigerian Constitution. She says: “The rescue of our Chibok girls isn’t a privilege. It’s their rights.”
In the video she says, “And when we make demands for them, we aren’t doing them a favour. We’re simply doing that which is right. It’s very important and instructive for Nigerians and the world to understand that there are over 112 Chibok girls that are in captivity.”
