The DPO of Uruan police, has confirmed that Iniobong Umoren’s body has been exhumed and deposited at the mortuary. According to him, he says an autopsy will be conducted to find out more things about her death.
Iniobong Umoren’s killer, Uduak Frank Akpan, is currently at the police custody. His punishment will definitely be brutal and harsh, probably a life sentence. In the video, the DPO says:
“Indeed, he assaulted her both sexually and physically. And thereafter, when we caught him… After he had confessed, ge was able to take us to a shallow grave where he buried her.
We were able to exhume the body.
As I speak, the body has been deposited at….
The essence of doing that is so that autopsy can be conducted.”
