An eyewitness has revealed that no few than 5 to 8 persons were kidnapped by suspected Fulani herdsmen on Akure-Ife Road on May 22, 2021. The incident took place in the evening at exactly 6:14pm.
In the trending video, police officers were seen standing a far after they were unable to arrest the suspected abductors. The eyewitness says a CAC (Christ Apostolic Church) driver and the passengers were kidnapped.
The driver and passengers in a Toyota Camry were also kidnapped. The eyewitness says that the cars were double-crossed by the kidnappers. According to the eyewitness, the people who were kidnapped were returning from an event.
