Nigerian soldiers have screamed and rejoiced as President Muhammadu Buhari announced the appointment of the new Chief of Army Staff, Major General Farouk Yahaya.
His appointment came in this afternoon at exactly 3:45PM. In the video, no few than 25 soldiers gathered at the Headquarters of the Theatre of Commander, where the news was broken to them.
After receiving the news from a Senior Officer, the soldiers screamed and celebrated. The senior officer also told the soldiers and their families to pray for the newly appointed Chief of Army Staff, Major General Farouk.
