A final year and graduating student of IbadanPoly, Tunde, has reportedly been shot dead by a yet-to-be identified Nigerian police man at a mall in Ring road, Ibadan, Oyo State. (Read More Here).
According to a source, Tunde and his friends were reportedly caught smoking weed by police officers at the mall. When one of his friends was caught, Tunde tried to escape by jumping over a fence, but was shot twice in in his laps by one of the police officers and he died immediately.
Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that the incident happened on Sunday, July 25, 2021. After the incident, there was sudden chaos, which made the police officers to flee from the mall.
Nigerian army were later deployed to the area to bring tranquility. According to the source, Tunde had recently signed out of Ibadan Polytechnic.
An accurate source tells Kossyderrickent:
“One of the police officers held his friend and Tunde ran away and was about to jump a fence, when the police man shot at him twice.
“The bullets hit him on his laps and he died instantly. The police officers ran away after seeing the havoc they had wreaked. This caused an outrage and soldiers were deployed to salvage the situation. It is heartbreaking that this happened to Tunde as he had just signed out from his school hours before his deeath. We demand justice for him.”
