Bandits abduct first class Zamfara monarch, Emir of Bungudu, HRH Hassan Attahiru, along Abuja-Kaduna highway

Gunmen suspected to be bandits have kidnapped the Pramount ruler of Bungundu emirate in Zamfara State, HRH Hassan Attahiru. (Read More Here).

The first class monarch was abducted while travelling along Abuja Kaduna highway on Tuesday, September 13.

It was gathered that the gunmen opened fire on his convoy and successfully demobilized some of the vehicles. 

A police personnel was said to have been killed during exchange of fire with the bandits.
