Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it millions of goods have been destroyed as flood took over Shoprite Golden Walk Shopping Mall in Germiston, South Africa. (Read More Here).
According to a South African source, told Kossyderrickent that it was the heavy downpours of rain that caused the flood in Germiston Golden Walk Shopping Centre.
“The heavy rainfall led to the flood. Retailers at the mall are currently saying that millions of their goods were destroyed and damaged by the flood,” a source told Kossyderrickent.
In the trending video, flood was seen at the walkway of Golden Walk Shopping Centre, which began to flow into the retail shops at the mall.
Surprisingly, some people were seen sitting comfortably in the heavy waters or flood, while some people were struggling to leave the mall.
Germiston is a small city in the East Rand region of Gauteng, South Africa, administratively forming part of the City of Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality since the latter’s establishment in 2000. It functions as the municipal seat of Ekurhuleni, hosting the municipal council and administration.
