The Police in Zamfara state has arrested one A’isha Ibrahim for allegedly trying to sell her co-wife’s two-year-old son in Gusau area of the state.
It was gathered that the suspect, who hails from Danyade Kaya village in Maradi, Niger Republic, was arrested on January 8, 2022.
She was among suspects paraded by Zamfara Police Commissioner, CP Ayuba Elkana at a press in Gusau on Thursday, January 13.
She allegedly confessed to having stolen the child from her co-wife in retaliation to the theft and sale of her son by the co-wife. And also, in order to raise money for her basic needs.
