Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that woman has been be appointed as one of the Commanders within the ground forces after successfully commanding two operations within 48hours following the torture of Students Union President Colani Khulekani Maseko.
The new female Commander based in eSwatini was in charge of two operations at Ngculwini and Mankayane,Dvudvusini where two homes belonging to soldiers were petrol bombed amid abduction of human rights defended by Mswati’s forces.
The name of the female Commander is known to this journalist but cannot be revealed for ethical reasons.
Speaking to this Swaziland News, the Commander said she would work diligently and ensure that those who are blocking the freedom of the people are dealt with one-by-one.
She appealed to members of the public to assist in identifying more soldiers who were part of the team that tortured Colani.
“We are urgently looking for more soldiers who tortured Colani,” said the Commander.
When asked by this Swaziland News to comment regarding the abduction of the Students Union President, Army Spokesperson Lieutenant Tengetile Khumalo said she would wait for a report from the Officer-in Charge before commenting.
On another note,senior members of the ground forces said they were happy with the performance of the female Commander.
“She promised to deliver results and attack soldiers within 24hours after the torturing of Colani and indeed she delivered.The two operations were just a test to see if she can deliver and indeed, she delivered. She was able to give orders and attacking strategies to the team on her own and produced results ”, said one of the senior members.
