Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that heavy rainfall and thunderstorm have hit some parts of New Delhi, India. (Read More Here).
According to information, the heavy thunderstorm has destroyed lots of properties and cars belonging to citizens and non citizens of India.
At least five flights were diverted and 70 delayed at the Delhi airport due to a thunderstorm that struck the national capital on Monday afternoon, officials said.
Heavy rain, accompanied by strong winds, damaged several cars, brought traffic to a grinding halt, left trees uprooted and led to power outages in various parts of Delhi on Monday.
The officials said at least 40 flight departures and 30 arrivals were delayed due to the thunderstorm.
ANII reports: “Delhi | Following the heavy rainfall & thunderstorm temperature drops by around 13 degrees at Palam & by around 16 degrees at Safdarjung. Between 4:20 pm and 5:40 pm, the temperature fell from 40 degrees Celsius to 25 degrees Celsius at Safdarjung: India Meteorological Department. #InPic | A traffic police booth in New Delhi’s Raisina Hill fell down due to the thunderstorm.”
