According to classified health documents in possession of this Swaziland News, the senior police officer who tortured many political activists and independent journalists for demanding democratic reforms is urgently in need of medical treatment or an operation on his private parts.

Assistant Superintendent Shiba,a member of Mswati’s Tingculungculu hit squad was among those who were leading the persecution against MP Mduduzi Bacede Mabuza.

“It’s true, he is here and whenever I look at him, I remember your articles where you reported that he persecuted Bacede. When we saw him here, we discussed with other health workers trying to confirm his identity. We then browsed through your online paper and confirmed that indeed it’s him. I will send you proof that it’s him but don’t publish the evidence because they will know who took it. It’s just for you to confirm that it’s him.You see, kuhlupha lomsebenti wetfu unema ethics kakhulu mani, lomuntfu lona kutsi angimekhame”,said the insider.

When this journalist tried several times to seek a comment from the torturing cop, his phone was answered but the person kept quiet.

Reached for comments, human rights lawyer Sibusiso Nhlabatsi said police normally found themselves between a rock and a hard surface as dictators used them to oppress the people yet they also benefited from what the people were fighting for.

“This police officer is now a victim of a poor health system yet people have been protesting demanding working equipment in hospitals and the police used violence against them,”said the human rights lawyer.
