Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Bruce Lehrmann said he was sniffing flour with his dog pet and not cocaine (coke) in trending picture.

An astonishing photo where Bruce Lehrmann appears to snort a white substance off his dinner table is being hawked to media companies for money.

However, Daily Mail Australia can reveal the image was taken as a joke and actually shows Mr Lehrmann pretending to snort plain flour.

Lehrmann admitted under cross examination in his defamation trial that he was not being truthful when he told his then-employer, Liberal minister Linda Reynolds, in 2019 that he had “retreated to Queensland to see my mother” and could not talk in person.

And he also lied about the reason he gave his employers for being in the office early on Saturday morning after a night of drinking in Canberra.

He said in the letter he had not told security he was entering Parliament House on official business but admitted that he did say he had been “requested to pick up some documents” after giving Reynolds’ name.

The court heard Reynolds’ chief of staff, Fiona Brown, had tried to speak to him and meet up with him to discuss a security breach but he had ignored her telephone calls and told her he was not in Canberra.

Two thick lines of powder could be seen on the table, apparently ready to ingest, with one line laid out for Mr Lehrmann to snort and one line for Bruce the Chihuahua.

A friend also jokingly held a five-dollar note in front of the dog’s nose.

On Wednesday morning, a punter tried to auction two photos of the scene to major Australian media companies, promising to sell the explosive image to the highest bidder.

It was then confirmed the mystery substance was actually white flour leftover on the table from making home-made pasta earlier in the evening.

Mr Lehrmann supplied another photo himself to prove it was a joke.
