Well placed sources say Khalid Mahmoud Abuzaina and his brother Ahmad Abuzaina are the kingpin of cocaine, Mira and heroin supply in Lusaka.
Part of the money they make is channelled towards terrorism financing and activities.
The two have been using their shops trading as ‘Abuzaina Limited’ dotted across the country to clean their illegal money.
What is more worrying is that Khalid uses a senior investigations officer from DEC and ministry of Home Affairs public relations officer Nephas Chifuta for safe entry into Zambia as he was deported in 2019 after it was discovered that he had more than 2 passports.
His elder brother Ahmad runs the shops and their flats in Makeni where a warehouse nearby is used as a meeting point for their trusted suppliers.
Why then does immigration still allow Khalid who was deported to come back on several occasions?
Why does Nephas Chifuta direct immigration officer to allow this man enter the country when he is a danger to the peace of this country.
