Egypt also has a debt to GDP ratio of 91.4%, one of the highest in Africa.
South Africa has a debt burden of $270.2 billion (R4.3 trillion), the second highest in Africa.
South Africa also has one of the highest debt to GDP ratios in Africa (77%).
