Lawyer attends Supreme court proceedings in traditional worshipper’s regalia after apex court approved use of hijab in schools and public places.
A Nigerian lawyer caused a stir at the Supreme court today June 23 when he attended proceedings in the court in his traditional worshipper’s regalia.
According to him, he decided to dress that way following the judgment of the Supreme Court that allows all Nigerians to express their way of worship and use of hijab in schools and public places delivered on June 17.

The Delta-state born lawyer says his children will also go to school dressed in traditional outfits since the Supreme Court ruled on June 17 that people can now appear in their religious attires of worship in schools
