The victim in the Stellenbosch University urination incident Babalo Ndwayana and his legal team walked out of the hearing against the accused Theuns du Toit on Wednesday because they believe the central disciplinary committee is not objective. (Read More Here).
Ndwayana’s lawyer Nomonde Gxilishe told News24 that after dealing with preliminary issues in the morning, her client was not satisfied that the panel appointed by the university is objective.
The disciplinary hearing against du Toit was scheduled to start at the university on Wednesday after he was suspended from the university in May.
