FOUR people are appearing before courts of law in connection with theft of mobile phones and accessories belonging to a mobile money agent, Pamela Chisumpa, who is believed to have been abducted in April this year. 




Minister of Home Affairs and Internal Security Jack Mwiimbu told the House in a ministerial statement yesterday that among the suspects, one was charged with theft of the handset that was used to send the first video of the victim that went viral on April 18, 2022. 


In the video, Pamela is seen pleading with her family to pay a ransom to her captors. Mr Mwiimbu said the other two were charged with theft of a phone believed to belong to Pamela at the time of her abduction.
