Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Former Zambezi west member of Parliament and Lands Minister Christabel Martha Ngimbu has died in Lusaka after an illness at the Mainasoko military hospital.
Ngimbu was elected member of parliament for Zambezi west in 2014 after beating Charles Kakoma in a by-election.
She was later appointed minister of lands by President Micheal Sata, a position she held up to 2016.
Ngimbu was later sent in foreign service by President Edgar Lungu after losing the Zambezi west parliamentary seat in the 2016 general elections.
She recontested the seat in the 2021 election as an independent candidate but lost.
