Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that South African man from Cape Town, Saheed Saidi, finally arrives in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, after trekking for 3 years. (Read More Here).
In a video making rounds on social media, the man revealed that he would be trekking back after performing the hajj.
According to Saheed, he said he left Cape Town to start trekking to Mecca on August 15, 2022. He began to mention countries he had to pass through before reaching Mecca.
He mentioned countries, such as: Zimbabwe, Zambia, Kenya, Uganda and finally to Palestine, where he stayed for one year and 8 months due to the covid-19 pandemic that hit the world in 2020.
After the pandemic, he trekked to Medina and successfully arrived in Mecca. According to him, he says he would be trekking back to his country, South Africa by foot.
