The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Jen Shah changed her plea to guilty in fraud case.
According to TMZ, Jen went before a judge and reportedly pled guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing. As apart of her plea deal, prosecutors dropped one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering.
Jen’s trial was set to start next week, and she was reportedly facing a sentence of up to 14 years behind bars and would have to pay over $9 million to her alleged victims and forfeit another $6 million.
Jen was originally arrested March 2021 for allegedly targeting and scamming people out of their money as part of an alleged telemarketing scheme. I’n which she and her lawyers claimed she was innocent.
