Online publisher, Tshepo Sethibe, who manages Moeladilotlhoko News Boiler on Facebook has been released on a 2000 Pula bail by the Village Magistrates court.
The 32 year-old was arraigned before the court earlier this morning for charges relating to the publishing of alarming information on the disappearance of Tlotso Karema.
In a charge sheet, Public Prosecutor inspector Oagile Bolane said on the 8th of July this year, the accused Tshepo Sethibe published on his Moeladilotlhoko News Boiler Facebook page, false information.
The public prosecution did not oppose the accused person’s bail application, however they proposed conditions.
When giving bail, Chief Magistrate Dipate said the accused should not interfere with investigations and should cease from publishing information or statements that may likely encourage unlawful gatherings. Sethibe was also instructed not to contact any witnesses or post anything related to Tlotso Karema’s case.
