Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Senator Adeleke defeated incumbent Governor Gboyega Oyetola of the ruling All Progressives Congress with 403,371 votes to 375,077 votes.
Adeleke won in 17 local government areas while, Governor Oyetola won in 13 local government areas.
