Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Kuya Kim Atienza finally apologises to LGBTQ community after saying monkey pox is transmitted especially through gay sex. (Read More Here).
In a deleted tweet, Kuya Kim Atienza, said monkey pox is more severe compared to chicken pox and it is contracted through sexually
He added that the disease is mostly transmitted from male to male (that’s through gay or lesbian sex).
Kuya Kim Atienza wrote: “Chicken pox is less severe and the virus is airborne. Monkey pox is sexually transmitted, usually M to M.”
After sharing his tweet, he was dragged heavily, leading him to delete it. He had taken to his Twitter page to apologise to the LGBTQIA community.
He wrote: “My deepest apologies to those that were affected by my tweet.
Some of the things I said were ambiguous and caused a lot of hurt especially to members of the LGBTQ community.
You are correct Monkeypox is sexually transmitted but also by non sexual close contact. It not an STD.
“…I am also wrong in saying it’s usually spread M to M. Monkeypox can be spread by any person regardless of gender. M to F F to F.
“Again my deepest apologies to the people I hurt by my tweet. I am deeply sorry.”
