Deputy President William Ruto changes his Twitter bio, hours after IEBC announced him as the winner of the August 9th Presidential elections.

IEBC has declared William Ruto the fifth President of Kenya, following the 9th August polls.

IEBC Chairperson, Wafula Chebukati says DP Ruto got 7,176,141 votes (50.49% of the total votes cast).

“In accordance with the constitution and the law I, Wafula Chebukati, Chairperson of the IEBC hereby declare that Ruto William Samoei has been duly elected as the President of the Republic of Kenya”
