Vivica Fox says she hasn’t been in contact with her pal Jada Pinkett-Smith ever since sharing her comments about the actress’ lack of accountability in her first video reacting to the Oscars fiasco in June.

But according to Fox, she doesn’t have any bad feelings over her apparent distant relationship with the “Red Table Talk” host.

Two months ago, Fox expressed her thoughts about the infamous altercation between the “King Richard” star and Rock during her appearance on “The Wendy Williams Show” while reacting to Jada addressing the situation in an episode of “RTT.” The 58-year-old considered Jada’s response to be “self-righteous,” adding that she hadn’t taken any accountability for what transpired at the prestigious awards ceremony, saying, “I felt to be a good partner, there was no accountability. Will Smith was defending her honor. That was why—the reason he walked onstage and slapped.”

And while many fans agreed with her comments, during an interview with PEOPLE at the premiere of “The Great Wolf Pack: A Call to Adventure” this week, the “Kill Bill” star said she hadn’t heard from Jada since weighing in on the Oscars debacle. “I think they’re just really going through a season of healing right now,” she added. “Listen, I love Will Smith. He’s one of my favorite people on the planet. We all make mistakes. If there’s one person that deserves a second chance, it is him. I think he’s taken full accountability for his actions and he apologized.”
