Drew Barrymore was accused of racism after a TikToker claimed she copied Black TikTokers who frolicked in the rain months before her viral video. (Read More Here).
The accusation was made by TikToker @amushroomblackly, who stated Barrymore disrespected the boundaries Black creators set because it was similar to the frolicking trend they started earlier this year.
She said, ‘You and I both know you are capable of enjoying the rain, frolicking freely, without filming it and posting it to TikTok. [You] cosigned people who just go out of their way to disrespect and dismiss the boundaries that black creators have set. And now you’re one of those people. I guess my question would be, why is it so important to all of you to treat us like we don’t matter?
