It’s being reported that the body of slain Philadelphia rapper PnB Rock is ready to be released to his family.
The reports arrive after the rapper’s brother, PnB Been, went on social media with a post and delete.
PnB Meen previously wrote, “We been having trouble getting my brother’s [body] back to Philadelphia. The [city] of Los Angeles claiming they have some type of law going against ours as Muslims. Now I have no clue when his Janazah. It’s not right yo. It’s going on a week. Prayers up. I got you big bro, and ya daughters.”
Prior to Meen’s post, his mother left Philly to LA and requested that PnB Rock’s body be released immediately due to religious reasons — as Meen had alluded to when speaking on his brother’s Janazah, or Muslim funeral ceremony. Rules state that a burial is started within 72 hours of passing, plus autopsies are against traditions.
However, the medical examiner in the case would not release the body because the rapper’s death is now a part of a larger homicide investigation. And because it’s law, an autopsy was conducted and proved that the rapper’s death was ruled as a homicide, dying from a gunshot wound to the back/chest.
