The child molestation lawsuit filed against Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears has officially been dropped, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.
Per the news publication, Jane Doe asked a judge to dismiss the case with prejudice, which means the lawsuit will not be able to be filed again at a later date.
Furthermore, Jane Doe followed up with a statement after dissolving the case, saying, “My family and I have known Tiffany Haddish for many years – and we now know that she would never harm me or my brother or help anyone else do anything that could harm us. We wish Tiffany the best and are glad that we can all put this behind us.”
While Spears was not mentioned in the statement, the filed court docs reveal that the claims made against him had also been dismissed. As fans will recall, the lawsuit stemmed from a Funny or Die comedy sketch from Haddish and Spears where two children were hired for several suggestive scenes, which were deemed highly inappropriate.
