If you recall earlier this month, we shared a story about a 21-year-old Dallas woman being fatally shot after beating her 31-year-old male friend in a pick-up game of basketball.
The slain woman was identified as Asia Womack and she was gunned down on the evening of Monday, October 3 after playing some hoops with her friend, Cameron Hogg at T.G. Terry Park near Womack’s home.
At the time, it was reported that when Womack and Hogg finished their game, he took his kids and brother home, then returned to the park. Womack was with another friend when Hogg walked up and shot her twice in the chest, “knocking her into a chair.” A witness confirms Hogg then shot her two more times before leaving, without saying a word.
Womack’s mother said the two had known each other for 15 years. She said they spit a little trash talk towards each other during the game, but that was no excuse for how things ended. It is now reported that Hogg was been arrested and charged as of Thursday (October 20). Police were looking for him for 11 days before his arrest. He now faces a murder charge.
