After informing his wife about their relationship last month, a man killed a young woman. Authorities said he and his brother-in-law shot and burned the victim to death in Milwaukee.

Kania Brunson, age 20, met up with Sultan Shareef, a married man she had been dating on September 24, a witness claimed to have seen Shareef laying on top of Brunson in his car. They stated Brunson was yelling for assistance, screaming “he cut my throat,” which prompted them to dial 911. Police received a second report many hours after the first one, but they were unable to locate the pair when they got to the area.

Authorities discovered Brunson’s body in an alley and determined that she had died after she was shot and then set on fire. One week before the gruesome scene, Shareef contacted Brunson’s mother, Jennifer Meadows, saying, ” I want to be done messing with your daughter, but she’s reaching out to my wife.”
