Chimamanda Adichie will deliver the landmark first BBC Reith Lecture for 2022.
Previous Reith Lecturers include Nobel Laureates Aung Sung Su Kyi, Bertrand Russell & Prof Wole Soyinka. She joins Soyinka as one of only 2 Nigerians to deliver Reith Lectures since inception in 1948.
In another news, Nigerian-born Finance Executive, Prof. Dr. Akolisa Ufodike has been appointed as Canada’s Deputy Minister at Alberta’s Ministry of Trade, Immigration and Multiculturalism.
He is a Director of Nigerian oil and gas company, Kainji Resources.
