Robber killed and his girlfriend injured as troubling couple attacked by angry community members in Mhlasini, KZN.
Its alleged that the deceased was confronted by a mob earlier this morning. They accused him of terrorising residents with a firearm. The mob began assaulting the man demanding to know the whereabouts of the weapon.
The deceased mentioned his girlfriend’s name while being beaten. The crowd then proceeded to her house which is situated in the same area and forced her to accompany them to her boyfriend’s location.
The mob began assaulting her when a community leader intervened and contacted law enforcement for assistance.
