Muhyiddin Yassin says he is proud to be the “Father of MCOs”, noting that the multiple movement control orders saved many lives. 

“Anwar Ibrahim kata saya ‘Bapa PKP’. Dia tidak sedar kalau hari itu, saya tidak buat PKP, berapa banyak sudah jangkit dan mati,” he adds.

The Perikatan Nasional chairperson also notes that 99% of people who were infected with Covid-19 in Malaysia had recovered. 

“Di Amerika Syarikat, 1.6 juta mati sebab Covid-19,” he says.
