Pakatan Harapan president Anwar Ibrahim says PH has managed to get the support of MPs to form the government with a simple majority, of more than 111. 

He says, the final decision will be up to the Agong’s discretion.

In another news, MCA has called for Ahmad Zahid Hamidi to step down as the chairperson of Barisan Nasional.

Sec-gen Chong Sin Woon says MCA has lost its confidence in Zahid’s leadership.

MCA also calls for tonight’s BN Supreme Council meeting that was cancelled by Zahid, to be held immediately.
