The Keretapi Tanah Melayu Bhd workers’ union has urged PM Anwar Ibrahim to appoint DAP’s Anthony Loke as Transport Minister

The Keretapi Tanah Melayu Bhd workers’ union has urged PM Anwar Ibrahim to appoint DAP’s Anthony Loke as Transport Minister.

“The union believes that the appointment would benefit public transport, especially in making it more efficient,” president Abdul Razak said.

He added that the union’s support for Loke is based on his track record as Transport Minister from May 2018 to February 2020.

He said the union is also certain that Loke would prioritise the well-being of workers and KTMB as a whole.
