Despite her initial claims that there was no infidelity going on in her marriage, Cynthia Bailey’s recently-filed court documents say otherwise.
As previously reported, the former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star announced in October that she and her ex-husband, Mike Hill, were divorcing after less than two years of marriage.
She claimed that the relationship simply didn’t work out and that the pair had drifted apart over time, but in docs filed in Fulton County, Georgia, on Thursday, Cynthia mentions “inappropriate relations” being the reason for the split. The legal paperwork to officially divorce her estranged husband read, “Petitioner [Bailey] is entitled to a divorce from the Respondent [Hill] due to inappropriate adulterous relations and moral ethics in his conduct.”
Mike has since issued a response to Page Six, asserting that there must have been an “error” in the court filing, adding that Cynthia’s legal team is supposedly “releasing statements retracting this,” though her representatives haven’t made any changes to the documents yet, nor has their client spoken out about an alleged mistake in the paperwork.
