Oscar-winning Movie Actress, #TaranehAlidoosti, 38, was arrested in Iran on Saturday for posting a photo without the mandatory hijab.
She was holding a paper with the hashtag #WomanLifeFreedom written on it on Nov 9th.
Alidoosti was best known internationally for her role in The Salesman (2016), which won the Best Foreign Language Film Award at the 89th Academy Awards and remained in Iran during the #MahsaAmini protests.
Her Instagram page, where she posted the photo and had 8 million followers, also seems to be inactive right now.
