Cars without a third brake light can be fined up to RM2,000 or jailed for up to six months, PDRM says. 




It adds that having no third brake light poses danger to drivers behind the said vehicle.


“Sikap tidak bertanggungjawab ini boleh mendatangkan bahaya terutamanya pada waktu malam dan keadaan hujan lebat,” the police say. 


“Pemilik kenderaan boleh dikenakan tindakan di bawah Seksyen 119(1) Akta Pengangkutan Jalan 1987 bagi kesalahan am dan penalti.”
