The police in Kabale District, Uganda are investigating a murder case after a 13-year-old girl, Glorious Akampurira Owembabazi, died at a hospital following a gang rape on Christmas Day at Nyakasharara trading center in Kyarugondo village.
The attack occurred at 8 pm in Kamuganguzi Sub County.
Four suspects have been arrested in connection with the gang rape and subsequent death of 13-year-old Glorious Akampurira Owembabazi in Kabale District, Uganda.
According to ASP Elly Maate, the Kigezi region police spokesperson, the suspects have been identified as Davis Akankwasa Kehoda, Allan Akanyijuka, Moses Sendarera, and Norman Ahumuza Kanuma, all residents of Kasheregyenyi parish Kamuganguzi Sub County.
The incident occurred in Kyarugondo village, Kasyeregyenyi parish, Kamuganhuzi Sub County. The investigation is ongoing.
