The details are: “Two Black women were kicked off an Amtrak just because their emotional support dog pooped. They cleaned it up immediately, but @Amtrak called the cops on them anyways. They were trying to go to Chicago for Christmas and were stranded in Grand Junction, CO in the freezing cold.
“Meet William Hermann, the vice president senior managing deputy general counsel of @Amtrak. This quirky looking feudal lord took home the largest bonus in 2021. Does he know that 2 elderly Black women were stranded in the freezing cold on Christmas?
“Maybe I should start talking about how the 10 highest paid @Amtrak executives got six-figure bonuses in 2021 despite their company’s declining revenues. Our federal and state taxes are not meant to subsidize the mistreatment and abandonment of elderly women in the freezing cold.
“JFC, @Amtrak is pretending like they didn’t call the cops on 2 elderly Black women and strand them in the freezing cold in the middle of nowhere on Christmas.”
Taking to social media, Amtrak, subtly, reacted to the kicked African-American women scandal on Twitter.
Amtrak wrote: “our hearts go out to all the parents who chose holiday road trip over holiday train ride.”
